Hello, I'm Ruth, an English teacher form the north of England and the founder and creator of this Beyond The Books English website.
Being a university-qualified teacher, with a degree in Linguistics and over 17 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language in the UK, Portugal and Spain, I have a wealth of experience.
I created this site because I've seen too many learners who simply aren't suited to a traditional classroom — and I'd very much like to help.
